TCG Traders — Legal & Policies

Platform Role: TCG Traders acts as a neutral facilitator connecting trading card collectors and traders. We are not a party to any trades and do not take ownership of, guarantee authenticity of, or assume liability for any trading cards.

Eligibility: Users must be 18+ years old (or the age of majority in their jurisdiction) to participate in Premium memberships or have a parent or legal guardian's permission.

User Responsibilities:

• Provide accurate card descriptions and conditions
• Ship cards securely using appropriate packaging and tracking
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
• Never list or trade counterfeit cards
• Refrain from scams, fraud, or harassment
• Communicate respectfully with other users

International Trades: For cross-border trades, the sender is responsible for completing accurate customs forms. The receiver is responsible for any applicable duties, taxes, or import fees. TCG Traders is not liable for customs delays, seizures, or additional fees.

Liability Disclaimer: We provide no guarantee regarding card authenticity, condition accuracy, or dispute resolution. Users engage in trades at their own risk and must resolve disputes directly with their trading partners.

Account Termination: Accounts may be suspended or terminated for violations of these terms, fraudulent activity, or repeated user complaints.

Governing Law: These terms are governed by the laws of the United States.

Data We Collect:

• Account information (username, email, password)
• Profile data (avatar, location, trading preferences)
• Transaction history and trade details
• Shipping addresses for completed trades
• Technical data (IP address, browser type, usage analytics)
• Cookies and similar tracking technologies

How We Use Your Data:

• Operate and maintain user accounts
• Facilitate trades between users
• Improve platform security and prevent fraud
• Send notifications about trades and account activity
• Comply with legal obligations

Data Sharing: We share information with other users when necessary for trades (such as shipping addresses), with service providers who assist platform operations, and with law enforcement when legally required.

Your Rights: You may access, correct, or delete your personal data. You may also request data portability or file complaints with data protection authorities. Children under 13 are not permitted to use our platform.

• Communicate Clearly: Respond promptly to messages and keep trading partners informed
• Report Issues: Flag suspicious users, counterfeit cards, or inappropriate behavior to help keep our community safe
• Respect Privacy: Don't share other users' personal information without permission
• Fair Trading: Honor your trade agreements and resolve disputes amicably
